Having been interested in nature and photography for so many years, Orogenesis is mainly a study on the relationship between humans and reality. Or more intriguingly, a virtuality. Of course, none of the images depict humans, although some show a sign of a (past? future?) civilization, or sometimes, a never seen before atmospheric phenomena. The individual is lost in this alien, still familiar, scenario. True wilderness, finally.
All the images come as miniatures (they may appear bigger on screen) in the size of 2,5×3,5 inches, so the viewer must come close to appreciate this infinitely distant nature. This miniature size is also known as ACEO (artists trading cards) and is widely collected and generally stored in sleeves and albums. Those interested in having these images on their walls, though, are recommended to purchase the prints mounted to 13×15”, as depicted.
